Introducing Wayne Weaire

Over the past 35 years Wayne has worked as a Counsellor, Family Therapist, Counselling Supervisor and Executive Manager in Youth and Family Services, Community Health and Health Services Victoria.

He holds a Bachelor of Theology from Trinity College - University of Melbourne. In 1995 he commenced post graduate study in Family Therapy and received clinical registration with the Victorian Association of Family Therapists in 1998 and continues to be a Professional Member of the Australian Association of Family Therapy.

Wayne counsels in individual, couples and family therapy. Counselling and therapy is goal-orientated and is aimed at achieving desired outcomes that are measured and reflected upon. This occurs over an agreed period of time depending on the individual goals and desired outcomes from the therapy.

Wayne is currently consulting at BGP at the Arch on Tuesdays from 4pm - 8pm. Initial referral can be done by personally contacting Wayne on 0427 848 011 or by filling out the enquiry form on the Counselling Ballarat Website. Alternatively, a referral can be made to him by your GP or other health care professional.

Consultations are usually 50-60 minutes in length. Fees are $140 per consultation, payable on the day. These sessions are not rebatable from Medicare or Private Health Insurance.
